Unauthenticated account takeover via flawed request authentication
Published Feb 13, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Authentication bypass in Chimpstudio WP Directorybox Manager 2.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to log in as any existing user. The wp_dp_parse_request function incorrectly authenticates a crafted request and creates a login session for the targeted account. No credentials or user interaction are required, and targeting an administrator account grants administrative site access.
