Symlink following in the macOS installer for Netskope Client allows local users to escalate file privileges during installation. The privileged postinstall script accepts the unvalidated nsinstallation path and follows a standard user's symlink, applying its privilege-changing operation to the link target. Local standard-user access and installer execution are required; affected branches are before 123.0, before 117.1.11.2310, and before 120.1.10.2306.
