CVE-2024-13163

User-assisted code execution via DecodeBase64Object deserialization

Published Jan 14, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026

Deserialization in Ivanti Endpoint Manager before its January 2025 updates allows remote attackers to execute code after local user interaction. DecodeBase64Object accepts user-supplied serialized data without proper validation, allowing unsafe deserialization in the current user's context. Exploitation requires the target to visit a malicious page or open a malicious file, unless the attacker has application administrator credentials.
