Contributor-level stored XSS via unescaped widget attributes
Published Feb 20, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Unlimited Elements For Elementor 1.5.140 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through widget attributes. The Transparent Split Hero widget insufficiently sanitizes user-supplied attributes and emits them without adequate output escaping. Contributor-level access is required to store the payload, which executes in the browser of a user who opens the injected page.
