Reflected XSS via unencoded active_t parameter
Published Jan 5, 2025 · Updated Jan 6, 2025
Reflected XSS in Emlog Pro 2.4.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute script through the active_t query parameter. The /admin/twitter.php handler concatenates active_t into a returned URL without output encoding, causing crafted markup to reach the browser as executable content. A low-privileged authenticated user must induce a victim to open the crafted URL, exposing browser-accessible data and actions in that victim's session.
