Log deletion via missing CSRF validation
Published Mar 25, 2025 · Updated Mar 25, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in IP Based Login before 2.4.1 allows remote attackers to delete all plugin logs through an administrator. The administrative handler trusts the delid=all query parameter without requiring a valid WordPress nonce and executes the bulk log-deletion path. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to open an attacker-supplied URL, and the demonstrated consequence is deletion of all plugin logs.
