Stored XSS via unsanitized slide link
Published Jan 27, 2025 · Updated Feb 3, 2025
Stored XSS in Crelly Slider before 1.4.7 allows remote authenticated users with administrator privileges to inject scripts via slide links. The slider editor accepts a javascript: URL in a slide's link field, stores it without sufficient sanitization, and renders it as a clickable page link. Administrator access is required, and the injected script executes when a visitor clicks the affected slide, including where unfiltered_html is disabled.
