CVE-2024-13102Network attack vector

Unauthenticated DDNS modification via missing authorization

Published Jan 2, 2025 · Updated Jan 2, 2025

Improper access control in D-Link DIR-816 A2 1.10CNB05_R1B011D88210 allows remote attackers to alter DDNS settings via /goform/DDNS. The DDNS request handler accepts configuration-changing requests without enforcing the authorization boundary required for management operations. No authentication or user interaction is required, but the management interface must be network-reachable; the documented impact is limited to configuration integrity.
