Privilege escalation in Nozomi Networks Guardian and CMC before 24.6.0 allows local users to obtain administrative access. The appliances assign a local service account sudo rules that authorize more privileged operations than the service requires. Exploitation requires arbitrary command execution as that service account; Nozomi reports no identified path to gain that execution foothold.
