CVE-2024-13087

Administrator-to-root execution via unvalidated RunExecBash input

Published Jun 6, 2025 · Updated Jun 6, 2025

Command injection in QNAP QuRouter before 2.4.6.028 allows remote authenticated users on the local network to execute commands as root. The miro_webserver_lib_RunExecBash function passes a user-supplied string to a system call without proper validation. In isolation, exploitation requires local-network reachability and administrator access; success grants root-level execution.
