Administrator browser script execution via unescaped parameters
Published Jan 27, 2025 · Updated Jan 27, 2025
Reflected XSS in Phycticio Dyn Business Panel 1.0.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script in an administrator’s browser. The plugin reflects the edit parameter on dbp_clients and the view parameter on dbp_invoices into administration pages without sanitizing or escaping their values. Exploitation requires a high-privilege user to follow a crafted URL, after which the injected script runs in that user’s WordPress session.
