Denial of service in GitLab CE/EE before 17.7.7, 17.8 before 17.8.5, and 17.9 before 17.9.2 allows remote authenticated users to reboot the host. GitLab has not disclosed the affected component or how crafted input consumes resources until the operating system reboots. A low-privileged authenticated account is required; the reboot interrupts all services on the affected host.
