CVE-2024-1304Network attack vector

Partial browser-session hijack via crafted JavaScript

Published Mar 12, 2024 · Updated Aug 22, 2024

Cross-site scripting in Badger Meter moni::tool 4.6.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to partially hijack an authenticated browser session. The software processes a specially crafted JavaScript payload without adequate neutralization, but INCIBE does not identify the affected input, page, or request handler. Exploitation requires an authenticated user to receive and render the payload; reported effects are limited to partial control of that browser session.
