Authenticated SSRF via arbitrary article cover URL
Published Dec 30, 2024 · Updated Dec 30, 2024
SSRF in White-Jotter 0.2.0 through 0.2.2 allows remote authenticated users to make the server access internal services via an article cover URL. The article editor accepts an arbitrary articleCover URL and later dereferences it from the backend when a public article list is loaded. Administrative access is required to save the crafted article; a later unauthenticated page view triggers the outbound GET to a network-restricted endpoint.
