Database disclosure via injectable login username
Published Mar 12, 2024 · Updated Aug 12, 2024
SQL injection in Badger Meter moni::tool 4.6.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to read database contents through the j_username parameter. The login handler incorporates j_username into a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax, enabling time-based blind injection and data extraction. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the demonstrated consequence is disclosure of the application's database contents.
