CVE-2024-13003Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Database read and modification via unsanitized e_id

Published Dec 29, 2024 · Updated Dec 31, 2024

SQL injection in Portfolio Management System MCA 1.0 allows remote attackers to read and modify database data through crafted e_id input. update_ed.php passes the multipart POST parameter e_id directly into SQL statements without adequate validation, sanitization, or parameter binding. Published assessments conflict on the gate: the CNA requires low privileges, the NVD score requires none, and the proof of concept states no authentication.
