CVE-2024-12994Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated application compromise via unsafe file deserialization

Published Dec 28, 2024 · Updated Dec 28, 2024

Deserialization in Datart 1.0.0-rc3 File Upload allows remote authenticated users to alter data or interrupt service through /import. The extractModel function deserializes the uploaded file argument without sufficiently validating the resulting object. A low-privileged account is required, and the record bounds consequences to application-data exposure or alteration and service interruption.
