Unauthenticated command execution via unsanitized session parameter
Published Dec 27, 2024 · Updated May 16, 2025
OS command injection in DrayTek Vigor2960 and Vigor300B 1.5.1.3 through 1.5.1.4 allows remote attackers to execute commands. The /cgi-bin/mainfunction.cgi/apmcfgupptim handler fails to neutralize command syntax in the attacker-controlled session argument before command processing. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation can read or alter router data and interrupt service.
