Authenticated SQL injection via unsanitized driver identifier
Published Dec 27, 2024 · Updated Dec 27, 2024
SQL injection in CodeAstro Car Rental System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to access or alter data through a booking request. bookingconfirm.php inserts the driver_id_from_dropdown POST value directly into a SQL query without validation or parameter binding. A low-privilege authenticated session is required; crafted input can read, alter, or delete database records and delay query execution.
