High-privilege response splitting via unvalidated Host header
Published Sep 2, 2025 · Updated Jun 1, 2026
Origin validation error in AKINSOFT OctoCloud s1.09.01 through versions before 1.11.01 allows remote authenticated users to split HTTP responses. OctoCloud trusts the requester-supplied Host header while validating request origin, allowing that value to shape generated HTTP responses. Exploitation requires a high-privilege account and no user interaction; successful requests can expose protected pages or inject a second response.
