Authenticated command execution via unsanitized browser paths
Published Mar 17, 2025 · Updated Mar 17, 2025
OS command injection in Pandora FMS 700 through 777.6 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands through web settings. The application-settings handler accepts shell metacharacters in the chromium_path or phantomjs_bin value and later uses that value during command execution without neutralization. Administrator access to the Web Console is required, after which injected commands run with the privileges of the console's server-side process.
