Database read and modification via concatenated name parameters
Published Dec 26, 2024 · Updated Dec 30, 2024
SQL injection in Job Recruitment 1.0 allows remote attackers to read or modify database data through crafted fname or lname values. The fln_update action in /_parse/_all_edits.php concatenates POST parameter values directly into an SQL statement without restriction before executing it. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the demonstrated consequence includes enumerating database names.
