Stored XSS via unsanitized block attributes
Published Mar 13, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in ThemeFuse Brizy - Page Builder 2.4.40 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through block uploads. The block-import path accepts user-supplied attributes from an uploaded block without sufficient input sanitization and later renders them without output escaping. Contributor-level access is required, and the stored script executes in a visitor's browser whenever the injected page is opened.
