Authenticated code execution via unrestricted achievement upload
Published Dec 26, 2024 · Updated Dec 26, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in Portfolio Management System MCA 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code via ach_certy. update_ach.php accepts the multipart ach_certy filename and PHP body without enforcing a safe extension or nonexecutable storage location. A low-privilege web session can upload a .php payload that the server then executes, allowing control of the application host.
