CVE-2024-12952Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated command execution via dependency installation endpoint

Published Dec 26, 2024 · Updated Dec 26, 2024

Code injection in melMass comfy-mtb 0.1.0 through 0.1.4 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands via its dependency endpoint. ACTIONS_installDependency accepts client-supplied dependency names and passes them to run_command for a pip install operation without limiting them to known packages. Access to a running ComfyUI instance and low-privileged API access are required; successful exploitation executes commands with the ComfyUI process's permissions.
