Unauthenticated database access via unsanitized login input
Published Dec 26, 2024 · Updated Dec 26, 2024
SQL injection in 1000 Projects Portfolio Management System MCA 1.0 allows remote attackers to access and alter its database. The /admin/admin_login.php handler inserts the username parameter directly into a MySQL query without sanitization or parameter binding. An unauthenticated login request is sufficient; demonstrated boolean- and time-based blind payloads permit indirect disclosure and response delays.
