Subscriber-level file deletion via missing capability checks
Published Mar 19, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in FoodBakery 4.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to delete files and alter theme or widget settings. Eight AJAX and theme-option functions execute backup, restore, import, export, reset, save, and file-deletion operations without checking the caller’s WordPress capability. Subscriber-level access reaches these administrative operations, enabling arbitrary file deletion, backup manipulation, and configuration changes.
