CVE-2024-12900Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated code injection via crafted database password

Published Dec 23, 2024 · Updated Dec 24, 2024

Code injection in FoxCMS 1.0 through 1.2 allows remote authenticated users to inject PHP code through a crafted database password. The /install/installdb.php configuration handler processes the database password without neutralizing code syntax; public sources do not disclose the exact unsafe operation. Access to the installation workflow and low privileges are required; successful exploitation executes attacker-supplied code in the server-side PHP context.
