Authenticated SQL injection via unsanitized eid parameter
Published Dec 22, 2024 · Updated Dec 25, 2024
SQL injection in account.php in Code Projects Online Exam Mastering System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter SQL queries via eid. The account.php quiz-step handler incorporates the attacker-controlled eid value into an SQL command without neutralizing SQL syntax, changing the intended query. A valid low-privilege session is required, and the resulting SQL execution can read or modify application data within the database account's permissions.
