Authenticated SQL injection via unsanitized eid parameter
Published Dec 22, 2024 · Updated Dec 25, 2024
SQL injection in Online Exam Mastering System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries through the eid parameter. The quiz-update handler at /update.php?q=quiz&step=2 fails to neutralize SQL syntax in eid before using the value in a database command. A low-privilege session is required; successful injection permits unauthorized database reads and writes and can interrupt application data access.
