Unauthorized resource access via unvalidated model URL
Published Mar 20, 2025 · Updated Mar 20, 2025
SSRF in Comfy Org ComfyUI 0.2.4 allows remote attackers to read unauthorized web resources through the victim server. The /internal/models/download handler accepts an unvalidated URL, fetches it with the server's aiohttp client, saves the response under an attacker-chosen model path, and /view returns the stored content. The attack requires HTTP access to ComfyUI, which binds to 127.0.0.1 by default; an exposed instance lets unauthenticated callers send requests with the server's network reach and credentials.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
