Authenticated file creation via unchecked restore
Published Dec 24, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in Jose Mortellaro PlugVersions 0.0.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to create arbitrary files. The eos_plugin_reviews_restore_version() function restores locally included plugin files without checking the caller's capability. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and file creation is limited to content already available to the WordPress host.
