Administrator browser script execution via unescaped parameter
Published Feb 26, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2025
Reflected XSS in nK Lazy Blocks before 3.8.3 allows remote attackers to run scripts in an administrator's browser via a crafted link. The plugin's wp-admin edit.php view outputs an attacker-controlled query-string parameter into the page without sanitizing or escaping it. Exploitation requires a high-privilege user to open the crafted URL, after which the script runs with that user's browser privileges.
