Arbitrary file read via unconstrained download path
Published Dec 21, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Path traversal in Awesome Motive Easy Digital Downloads 3.3.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary server files. The file download handler fails to constrain an administrator-supplied file path to an allowed directory before delivering the selected local file. Administrator-level WordPress access is required, and successful exploitation exposes file contents without modifying or interrupting the site.
