Subscriber-level file disclosure via unrestricted log path
Published Jan 30, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Arbitrary file read in VillaTheme W2S – Migrate WooCommerce to Shopify 1.2.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read server files. The viw2s_view_log AJAX action uses an attacker-controlled log-file path to return file contents without an authorization check that restricts the requested file. Subscriber-level WordPress access is sufficient, and the documented impact is sensitive-file disclosure without file modification or service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
