Administrator script execution via unsanitized tag reflection
Published Dec 20, 2024 · Updated Dec 27, 2024
Reflected XSS in /admin/store.php in emlog Pro 2.4.0 and 2.4.1 allows remote attackers to execute scripts through a crafted tag value. The endpoint concatenates the tag parameter directly into HTML output without validation, sanitization, or contextual encoding. An administrator must open the crafted URL, after which the injected script runs in that administrator's browser context and can expose the session cookie.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
