Administrator cookie disclosure via unencoded filter reflection
Published Dec 20, 2024 · Updated Dec 27, 2024
Reflected XSS in /admin/plugin.php in emlog Pro 2.4.0 through 2.4.1 allows remote attackers to run script in an administrator's browser. The handler places the filter query parameter directly into HTML output without validation or output encoding. Exploitation requires an administrator to open a crafted URL, after which the injected script executes in that session and can expose its cookie.
