Administrator cookie disclosure via unencoded keyword reflection
Published Dec 20, 2024 · Updated Dec 24, 2024
Reflected XSS in emlog Pro 2.4.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to run script in an administrator's browser via keyword. /admin/tag.php concatenates the keyword query parameter into HTML output without context-appropriate encoding, allowing attribute breakout. Exploitation requires an administrator to open a crafted URL, after which script execution can expose the administrator's session cookie.
