Code execution via malformed ICS file parsing
Published Dec 30, 2024 · Updated Dec 31, 2024
Out-of-bounds write in Delta Electronics DRASimuCAD 1.02 and earlier allows attackers to execute code via a crafted ICS file. The ICS parser does not validate user-supplied file data against the allocated buffer boundary, permitting a write past its end. Execution requires the target to open the file or visit a malicious page, and the resulting code runs in the current process context.
