Path traversal in custom_handler in Arista Networks NG Firewall 17.1.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. The method uses a user-supplied path in file operations without validating that the path remains within an intended directory. Remote exploitation is unauthenticated but requires Captive Portal to be installed, enabled, and configured with a custom page; code runs as www-data.
