OS command injection in ExecManagerImpl in Arista Networks NG Firewall 17.1.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute code as root. ExecManagerImpl passes an inadequately validated user-supplied string into a system call, allowing command arguments to alter the invoked operation. Administrator privileges are required, but no additional configuration is needed; successful exploitation grants root-level control of the firewall.
