Terminated employee data disclosure via profile ID

Published May 15, 2025 · Updated Aug 27, 2025

Insecure direct object reference in WP ERP before 1.13.4 allows remote authenticated users to read terminated employee profiles. The HR profile page accepts an attacker-controlled id query parameter and retrieves the corresponding employee record without confirming that the requesting employee may view it. Employee-level access to the WordPress dashboard is required, and disclosure is limited to information stored in a terminated employee's profile.
