Unauthenticated database access via raw email queries
Published Dec 19, 2024 · Updated Dec 20, 2024
SQL injection in Codezips E-Commerce Site 1.0 allows remote attackers to read or alter database data through the email parameter. admin/newadmin.php redirects unauthenticated requests but keeps executing, then interpolates the posted email into SELECT and INSERT statements without parameter binding. No login is required; exploitation can disclose or tamper with database records, while requests that reach insertion can also create an administrator account.
