Unauthenticated database access via unparameterized username query
Published Dec 19, 2024 · Updated Dec 20, 2024
SQL injection in Codezips Technical Discussion Forum 1.0 allows remote attackers to read and alter database data via username. The signinpost.php handler places the POST username value directly into a SQL query without sanitization or parameter binding, enabling time-based blind payloads. No authentication is required to submit the sign-in request, and exploitation supports unauthorized database access, disclosure, modification, or deletion.
