Service interruption via unbounded metric retrieval
Published Mar 20, 2025 · Updated Oct 15, 2025
Resource exhaustion in the Aim 3.25.0 web API allows remote attackers to make the web server unresponsive by retrieving many metrics. The metrics retrieval path accepts an unlimited number of tracked metrics in one call, exhausting resources while the single-threaded server blocks. No authentication is required, and successful requests interrupt the web interface and API without reported data disclosure or modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
