Private comment disclosure via user-controlled key
Published May 15, 2025 · Updated Nov 13, 2025
Authorization bypass in BuddyBoss Platform before 2.7.60 allows remote authenticated users to read comments on private posts. The activity_loadmore_comments AJAX action accepts activity_id and last_comment_id values without authorizing access to the parent private post. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and the consequence is limited to disclosure of comments associated with private posts.
