Reflected XSS via unescaped post parameter
Published May 15, 2025 · Updated May 20, 2025
Reflected XSS in niceit Advance Post Prefix 1.1.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject scripts via the post parameter. The plugin returns the post parameter in an administrative page without sufficient input sanitization or output escaping. Exploitation requires an attacker to induce a high-privilege user, such as an administrator, to open a crafted link, after which the script runs in that user's browser context.
