Administrator-context script execution via unescaped parameter
Published Jan 9, 2025 · Updated Jan 9, 2025
Reflected XSS in Aklamator INfeed 2.0.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script in an administrator's browser. The plugin returns an unsanitized and unescaped request parameter in an HTML page; WPScan does not identify the parameter or code locus. Exploitation requires a high-privilege user such as an administrator to open an attacker-crafted request, exposing that browser's same-origin context to script-driven data access or actions.
