Admin-targeted reflected XSS via unescaped referer parameter
Published May 15, 2025 · Updated May 20, 2025
Reflected XSS in SmartDataSoft Clasify Classified Listing 1.0.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script in an administrator's browser. The cl-payment-history admin page writes the _wp_http_referer query parameter into HTML without sanitization or output escaping. Exploitation requires a high-privilege user to open a crafted URL, after which script executes within that user's WordPress session.
