Stored XSS via unescaped shortcode class attribute
Published Jan 30, 2025 · Updated Jan 30, 2025
Stored XSS in Ombu Bulk Me Now! 2.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject script through a crafted shortcode. The shortcode renderer inserts the class attribute into form markup without escaping; a quote closes the attribute and adds an event handler. Contributor-level access is required to save the shortcode, and a visitor must move the pointer over the rendered form to execute the injected script.
